Our mission at Trout Creek Community Improvement Association (Trout Creek CIA) is to support projects geared towards improving and protecting the town of Trout Creek, and western Sanders County, Montana and providing all its community members with a safe, attractive environment for individuals and families to enjoy. Trout Creek CIA is non-profit 501©3.
Trout Creek Park has been owned and maintained by the Trout Creek CIA since 1975.
Events: For more than 10 years, the Trout Creek CIA once again hosted FREE events for community members of all ages to enjoy such as the Easter Eggstravaganza, the Paddlin’ Poker Run, Movie in the Park, helps sponsor the Cool Summer Nights Car Show, Music Festivals, Shakespeare in the Park, Community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, Family Bingo night. The Trout Creek CIA also works in conjunction with Huckleberry Inc. to hold Trout Creeks biggest event of the year the Huckleberry Festival. Trout Creek CIA also proudly sponsors the Trout Creek Farmers Market every summer.
Projects Completed: The Bob Green Memorial Playground, a Pickleball/Basketball court, sprinkler system in the park, in conjunction with Huckleberry Inc. we completed electrical system upgrades for the Huckleberry Festival. The Trout Creek CIA purchased and installed speed radar signs in Trout Creek. Trout Creek CIA is also very committed to assisting our community by donating money towards sports teams, school programs and assisting with community goodwill projects for community members in need.
Fundraising The Cabin Fever Redneck Ball is the Trout Creek CIA’s biggest fundraiser of the year along with volunteers scooping/selling ice cream at the annual Huckleberry Festival. We also apply for grants and accept donations.
